airplane on the highway from the re-release party

video

it really stands out in my mind as the most brilliant moment to have a memory made real again. i love these guys and love the way we met and knew each other in our 20s. dave's intro, not heard here, was like the coolest present ever.

not to self: always tell them put me on early

arrived early to play pontiac quarterly only to discover i am on last. perhaps liz who organized this evening of performance thought it was special or something for me to be last? people often think of it as the best spot. but i hate being last. it is the worst of all spots. if it is a weekday then people are leaving before the performance ends, walking out on you or before you and if it is a weekend they are drunk or fucked up by the end of the night. oh well.

this is the last song i played in munich and the feistness factor on drums took it to another level.

a lesson learned in endings for the bob. interesting that when i returned for technically the last show it kinda already happened in munich. this must be another example of why they didn't teach kabala to teenagers.
